The new direct routes into Georgia, and who they actually bring

The route announcements reported in December 2025 included Wizz Air flying Kutaisi to Venice from 2 December 2025 and Kutaisi to Bratislava four times a week from 12 January 2026; Air China linking Beijing to Tbilisi via Ürümqi twice weekly from 2 December 2025; Norwegian opening Copenhagen to Tbilisi twice weekly from 27 June 2026, described as the first direct link between the two capitals; and Condor moving Frankfurt to Tbilisi up to a daily service from 15 June 2026. AJet already flies Ankara to Tbilisi four times a week.

A Scandinavian or German route brings a different traveller from a regional one: longer average stay, more advance booking, more demand for written terms and for hosts who answer in English. Chinese arrivals through the Ürümqi connection tend to travel in structured itineraries. A host's pricing calendar and cancellation policy should follow whichever of these is filling the calendar, not the other way round.

Airline schedules change seasonally and routes are dropped as readily as they are opened, so any of these can look different by the time a winter or summer season is actually on sale. Before designing a tour, a transfer service or a minimum-stay rule around a particular city pair, confirm the frequency and the days of operation directly with the airline for the season you are selling.
