Planning winter now: Bakuriani's last published day pass was 55 lari, and the season starts in early December

For the 2025/26 season Bakuriani published an adult day pass at 55 lari and a seven-day pass at 296 lari; children aged six to twelve paid 28 lari a day and 148 for seven, with under-sixes skiing free. A multi-resort season pass was listed at 650 lari. Prices for the coming winter are not out, so quote these as last season's published rates and leave yourself room.

Bakuriani usually opens in early December, typically the first Georgian resort to start, and runs to late March. Gudauri's pattern last year was to hold prices unchanged and open online pass sales on 23 December through the usual local ticketing platforms. That combination — a December start and pass sales opening weeks after the first guests arrive — is the detail that trips up foreign visitors who assume they can buy everything in advance.

A lift pass at these levels is a small part of a ski week, which means the thing a guest is really pricing is the bed, the transfer and the equipment. If you let in or near either resort, the useful move now is to publish a plain winter page with the lift-pass range, the likely opening window, transfer time from Tbilisi and where boots are hired — the questions you will otherwise answer forty times by message in November. Say clearly that pass prices are last season's and subject to change.

Resort pricing pages are commercial and not always promptly updated, and the figures above are what was published for last winter rather than an announcement for this one. Before you put a number in a booking confirmation, check the resort's own page in November or early December. A quoted price you have to walk back is worse for a review than a range you flagged as provisional.
